Your name, email and voyage records never leave your device, except into your own backup. The only data that leaves the app is the limited diagnostic information described below.

Data stored on your device

Your records stay on your device, and in your own backup: your iCloud account on iPhone (managed by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy), your Google account backup on Android. We cannot read either.

Location

Location (used for UK border detection) is processed on your device only and is never sent to us or anyone else. You can turn location access off at any time in your device settings.

Text recognition

When you import midnight position reports on Android, the text is read on your device using Google's ML Kit. Your images and the text in them never leave your phone. ML Kit does send Google a small amount of diagnostic information (device model and OS version, app version, a device identifier, performance metrics and error codes), which Google uses for diagnostics and usage analytics. This data is encrypted in transit and is not shared with anyone else.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details.

Advertising and analytics

No advertising, no third-party tracking, and no analytics of our own.

Deleting your data

Delete All Data in Settings erases everything the app stores on your device.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13.
